Luke came home to a scary, chaotic scene in his house late Saturday night, and he almost made a new friend/roommate. Plus, a 12-year-old clip of some NBA announcers bickering on-air has resurfaced. Some say it’s all a joke, but Luke and Andrew aren’t so sure. Oh, and Andrew got some dirty toys at The Great American Train Show this weekend. 

Andrew’s mind is blown when he realizes he’s been combining two different actors into one person his entire life. Plus, Luke reviews the Broadway musical Hamilton.

Luke is obsessed with the fellow who sat behind him on his flight to New York City, and for good reason! Plus, TBTL’s love for Stone Cold Steve Austin continues to grow. 

Andrew thinks he stumbled into the perfect publishing crime. He and Luke also discuss comedian Katt Williams’ recent airing of grievances. And they talk about a fascinating Washington Post piece about a man’s quest to build the best in-home stereo system.

Luke has some thoughts on the new season of True Detective and some of the commercials he’s been seeing in heavy rotation lately. And listener Max thinks he discovered Andrew’s nightmare job.

Luke’s neighbor did something interesting while plowing snow, and Andrew is fascinated by it. Plus, NBC held viewers over a barrel to get them to sign up for Peacock this weekend, then they bragged about “making history” with the move. 

Luke and Andrew are preparing for the extreme winter weather, although Andrew is mostly distracted by the idea of a “Meat Door.” Plus, producers at ESPN admit that they made up a bunch of names in a bonkers ploy to obtain more Emmy trophies for its on-air hosts.

Andrew wants to become a Morning Zoo radio producer, and he’s been coming up with some segment ideas. Plus, the Washington Post looks into “Hotel Housekeeping Myths” to find out whether or not you should use the bedspread and coffee maker in your room. 

Alaska Airlines is offering cash to travelers who were on the airplane that sprung a hole, Aaron Rodgers is refusing to apologize for accusing Jimmy Kimmel of the most horrendous crime, and [BREAKING NEWS SOUND] Andrew and Luke learn that the Seahawks just fired their coach after 14 years. 

Luke and Andrew compare notes on their new basement dehumidifiers, like the young cool guys they are. Luke also tells Andrew all about the woman who’s been digging a huge, mine-sized hole under her house (and why she had to stop digging…for now.) 

Luke is a changed man when it comes to grocery shopping and bargain hunting. He and Andrew also discuss the many Dazzling Details related to the airplane that lost a big chunk of fuselage mid-air this weekend. They also indulge in a little football talk ahead of tonight’s huge Huskies game.

Genevieve joins the show to celebrate a big moment in trash-pickup history and to play a snack-chip related quiz with Andrew. They also examine the status of their relationship on the eve of their 23rd anniversary. 

After yesterday’s most impossible quiz, Luke now faces what may be the easiest Winter Game in TBTL history. In fact, it’s so easy, it’s almost difficult. And it’s about Star Wars. 

Luke gobsmacks Andrew with his knowledge about the band Godsmack, and that’s not even related to today’s quiz! But Luke’s luck runs out when he’s forced to play the most impossibly difficult Winter Game ever. 

Luke made quite the entrance at a recent social gathering, and it was much more than he bargained for. He and Andrew also gird their loins before jumping into today’s quiz, then they look up what it means to gird one's loins. Luke and Andrew stumble on a surprise David Alan Grier cameo whilst taking a quiz about the Mandela Effect. Luke is also emotionally preparing himself for the huge Husky game today. 

Phyllis “P-Fletch” Fletcher joins the show to talk about her and Andrew’s close calls with internet scammery and to weigh-in on some violations of bowling etiquette that has Andrew outraged. 

Andrew wrote the best stand-up joke of all time and is excited to share it with Luke. They also do their best to distinguish Jack Reacher from Jack Ryan from Joe Pickett, whoever that is. 

Luke joins the show from Frankfurt, Germany, where he’s had to make fake phone calls at least twice to avoid awkward interactions. He also got a taste of the local cased-meat cuisine and accidentally took a train to Siberia or thereabouts.
