We are called to bear fruit. Repentance is not just something we do; it is a continual part of who and what we are as the body of Christ. The fruit of repentance helps us to focus on the power of God to bring change in our life and in the world.

There are times when being in the presence of God is a joyful and affirming experience. There are other times when the presence of God brings confusion and fear, but only so that we can truly hear the voice of God.

Christ used scripture to announce his mission. Ezra read for hours the law of the Lord and the people responded. What if the Bible was more than something we had and was something we felt we actually needed?

Jesus' first ministry was to show the disciples God's glory. As followers of Christ, our lives are meant to show God's glory, too.

Don't ever underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit. Our baptism reminds us that we are God's and that God's power is always with us.

We all have a little King Herod in us. Hopefully, though, we can have more Wise Men in us.

The church is supposed to be about God's business not our own.

Believing in God is not a job; it is a joy! Let's learn to rejoice again.

We are just called children of God. We are called to be children of God.

Don't think the wilderness is a bad place. It may be where you're getting your call from God.

We can't understand Christ if we don't learn to think like him.

We've all had times when we've focused on what's important to us more than what's important to God. Jesus has something to say to us when we do.
