Specifically, the U.S. targeted Fordow, a uranium enrichment facility deep inside a remote mountain in Iran, and facilities at Natanz and Isfahan. Monday, in retaliation, Iran launched missiles at a U.S. base, Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. House Speaker Mike Johnson, who received a classified briefing Monday morning, told reporters that the U.S. anticipated Iran's reprisal. Qatar's Ministry of Defense relayed a statement that the base’s air defense system intercepted the missiles towards the base and no deaths or injuries were reported. According to a recent study by Tufts University researchers at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, rats in Boston are spreading a potentially deadly disease known as leptospirosis. Part 2 of Israel has outlined it lacks the ordnance to take out Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility and needs U.S. assistance.
