I've been giving a lot of thought to the theme of control this week. Not just the quiet calm of self control, but the willing surrender to it where it allegedly serves our best interests, and the nature of toxic people who try to assert control over others. This is a sort of merging of format and character for me. Most old school listeners will recognize this as a different show I did a long time ago. I miss the challenge of this show, and there's an additional level of challenge for me personally. How to do this particular show without doing the character associated with it.
