Don’t take matters into your own hands, be obedient and leave it in God’s hands. Your small obedience matters.

God has no grandchildren. A faithful remnant always remains. Will you be faithful?

Jesus is the true hero of the story. Half-hearted obedience is disobedience. Disobedience leads to judgement.

True faith overcomes selfishness, sinfulness, and overcomes the world. True faith believes God. True faith prays for sinners.

God’s Word today is the same today as God’s Word yesterday. Jesus embodies what true love is. Belief in God’s love for us leads to confidence and love for others.

Our practice reveals our parentage. Our actions reveal our love. Our confidence comes from the Gospel, not our obedience.

Antichrists deny the apostle’s teaching about Jesus. We deny the Bible because we love the world. We love the world because we hate our neighbor. We hate our neighbors because we don’t abide in Christ. We abide in Christ when we confess our sins.

Have you seen Jesus? Do you walk with Jesus? Have you been cleansed by Jesus?

Wisdom and folly daily invite us to follow them. Whose invitation will you accept?

We should pursue faithfulness not blessings. God will bless the faithful. God is faithful even when we are faithless.

The goal of the book of Proverbs is to make us wise. Wisdom comes from fearing God. Wisdom without Jesus is worthless.

How should we pray when we are desperate? How can we pray when we are at the end of our rope? We get an example of such a prayer from the prayers of David and Jesus in Psalm 22 Weep Beg Praise

We should pray the Psalms. We should honestly pray our doubts. We should pray eschatologically/with the end in mind.
