Dennis Kahnn is a resident DJ since 10 years in a club called Residenz in Paderborn and Stereo in Bielefeld. He started playing and collecting records in 2005 and has gathered around 4500 records which he is playing at his gigs. His sets are influenced by Chicago, New York, Detroit house music from the 90' and DJ's and producers like Jovonn, Larry Heard, Levan, Humphries, Kerri Chandler. The fifth episode of our christmas series is mixed and compiled by Marcin. Enjoy the mix! Being one of the founders of Raw Soul Marcin constantly increased his knowledge about house music. We all know him as a hard working man and this is what we respect the most about him. He is a very talented dj, being influenced by deep moody vibes from all the over the world: starting with New York’s House, with a prize of Detroit and Chicago, rounded up with sounds from Berlin, Paris or Frankfurt. Excerpting the best - that’s what it’s all about for Marcin. Much more to be expected for the next years - watch out for him.

Let’s give it up for one of the key driving forces behind RAW SOUL, Thomas Andrzej - he delivers the 4th X - Mas Podcast: When we think about Thomas, there is just one word about to describe his intimate love for records: passion. Being 14 years old he digged his first vinyl, an ep from the German Hip Hop crew "Stieber Twins". A couple of years later he recognized the beauty of house music and started to collect even more cross-border records - his collection of 700 platters contains Garage, House, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco und last but not least - Hip Hop. „After I met Jeremy Underground, my understanding for house music was completely renewed.“ That happened back in 2011, when we had Jeremy as our guest in Düsseldorf. As a main result, Thomas and the gang set up RAW SOUL as a passionated crew for records, music and knowledge sharing.

Episode 3 of our X-Mas Series by Sebastian Gummersbach Though being interested in music ever since, it was his first clubbing experiences that really draw Sebastian into the world of electronic music. With his musical spectrum ranging from soulful disco and house to raw, umcompromising techno he embraces diversity and freedom within his musical expression, be it his dj sets or productions. Being truly dedicated to his art, it comes naturally his goal is to feed peoples souls while making them dance. The next one is up. We continue our X-Mas Podcast Series with @Patraik's favourite disco and house cuts. As one of the founders of rs he is the one guy who prefers to draw the threads in the background. But also on the decks he proves himself for almost ten years and already left some important gigs and venues behind him. While his musical origin basically goes back to Hip Hop and Rap, he has been interested in electronic music since 2006 and now links the roots of house and techno in his record collection. His most important ambition: always pick the right records for the right venue and time to make the people dance and smile.
