We announce the Athletic Show, there's details of the 2012 Magic Mile and where we'll be stood to watch the women's Olympic Marathon on August 5th. There's some Team GB selection controversy, news of a super fast track 5000m in Paris, training talk is all about gearing up for your Autumn campaign, Tony brings us his trials and we interview Fleet Street legend, runner, journalist and historian John Bryant.

We announce a new track and field podcast - The Athletics Show. The Magic Mile gets closer.  There is news from the US Olympic trials and the European champs in Helsinki. There's a doubt over a drugs test at Comrades. Tony brings his trials. You rave and rate your run and we talk to 8th man on the UK all time lists for 10000m Julian Goater.

A busy week on the track with trials for Team GB. We chat about the Magic Mile, a fast 10k in Boston, some great Kenyan Performances, Ellie Greenwood wins WS100. We interview Scotland's Physical Activity Champion Dr Andrew Murray. There is a full podium, Tony brings us his trials and you rave!

Frank Shorter, 1972 Olympic Marathon Champ and a legend of marathon running is this weeks interview. The man quoted as leading the running boom in the USA in the 70's. We review super long runs with Comrades Ultra Marathon this past weekend and super fast runs from M0 - Jo. Mo leads the world over 5k and Jo does the double A in a week. Oh and Anthony Whiteman inpires Tom by running a sub 4min mile aged 40! You rate your run and rave. Tony goes to the fair and in Training Talk Martin helps Tom prepare for his first track 1500m.

We speak to Jason Hartmann who placed 4th at the 2012 Boston Marathon. We bring news from Edinburgh Marathon and catch up with 3rd place lady Hayley Haining. Haile runs his final track 10000m. Mo and Mara take top spots in the Bupa London 10000. Bolder Boulder has 50,000 people run around the street and there is an almighty Kenyan smackdown set for this weekend in Oregon. With less than 24 hours until the race starts Saturday lunchtime at the VLM expo is packed full of atmosphere. Liz Yelling and Tony Audenshaw joined Martin and Tom on the stage, and we even snuck in a quick chat with GB ultra runner Ellie Greenwood.

Less than 48 hours from the start of the London Marathon and the excitement was building on the expo stage.

Our first ever show from a big city marathon, joined by Scott Overall, Alex Flynn, Steve Way, and a 95 year old phenomenon.
