Leddy Hammock “I’m letting go of holding on. God is my shepherd, I shall not want. I’m letting go of holding on. Seeking first the kingdom of God. I let go of the feelings that feed on lack and greed. I let go of the reasons keeping me in need. I let go of the fear that there’s never enough. And I stop holding on, to what is not love. We breathe in, we breathe out, it’s all give and take. They’re one with each other, for all of goodness’ sake. The loaves and the fishes were blessed then released and barely enough, turned into a feast . . . . I’m letting go of holding on, seeking first the kingdom of God.”

When a child is born, they bring the gift of peace, an offering from the universe for all to see. In my heart, there is a space, pure and sacred, warm and safe, where the Child of peace is born in me. And so the seeds of peace are sown in fields of hope where love is grown. Now unto us the light has come, heavens work will soon be done and every soul that’s born will love increase. So, any time you see a child, greet them with a loving smile. Give your heart to the Child of peace. Child of peace, Pure and sweet, show me how to be a Child of peace.”

And so do countless stables stand in hearts as harsh as desert lands, Rough shelters in the wind and sand, so Love will come and stay there –. Love that opens fists of hate, heaps of gold on beggars’ plates, Love that shows a kindly face to enemies and strangers. And walls of stables tremble so when winds of fear and judgment blow. For a stable hopes in Love alone and knows that Love’s the answer. Oh, Love, the prophets’ only word, the only lesson left to learn, The only end of heaven’s work, and the only road that goes there — Love that sees with mercy’s eyes, holds its arms out open wide, Threads its loom with separate lives and weaves them all together. So, may the lamps of stables glow brightly lit that light may go for miles in the darkness, so Love will find its way there.”

LEDDY HAMMOCK Search the sky for that star—star of light, star of love, bright enough to guide believers from afar. Let there be peace around our troubled world, peace within ourselves. We’ve traveled such a long way. Let us not forget what for. And when we gaze upon that star of light, star of love, we hope for the only gift: peace around our trouble world, peace within ourselves. Search the face of the Child, shining with the spirit of Christmases in our heart.

You’ve given us strength to find our way. Here, in this present moment, You’ve given us courage for today. We have courage for today. We live the good life, Oh, so sweet, and You’re with us with every heartbeat.”

Leddy Hammock God has prepared a feast for me and has set the table for me to enjoy every good thing. My mind set is to expect the best. In all my life, I give thanks in advance, expecting good and only good. I keep my table set. I believe that God’s will for all people is good and only good. There is always room for more people at our table. We can always set an extra plate. Although we may say grace in many ways, we all stay grateful. I’m grateful for the life that’s mine to live, grateful for the love that’s in my life, grateful for the gifts I have to give and the memories made around my kitchen table.

With You, God, I rejoice in feeling nurtured and fulfilled, with steadfast faith in human life and in myself, fully alive, fully alive. Thank You, God, for Your healing grace and comfort in my need, as You guide me with a spark of perfect clarity, my heart is blessed with understanding of my promise and my vision, rejoicing in the Truth … receptive to the light … Restoring me to faith of who I am, realizing my own essence of I Am.

Leddy Hammock Divine guidance is my flashlight through the dark night of my soul. The light of Truth shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Spirit illumines my path through the valley of the shadow. The Christ Spirit is my flashlight in the dark night of my soul.

Leddy Hammock “With the hard-earned wisdom I have now, I wouldn’t do again what my old self would allow. What I hold onto … wouldn’t let me be free…. now I see, I’m getting closer to a new, more peaceful me. I’m holding on to what I want to keep. I feel lighter, I sleep better, its love that’s holding me…. My new religion is live and let be….now I can stand back and see – the past is the past, but the future’s up to me. What I hold on to holds on to me….”

“Pour over me Holy Spirit, cleanse my heart and comfort me. Pour over me Holy Spirit, help me know how to let go. With the setting of the sun, I now let drift away ev’rything and ev’ryone that can no longer stay. In the scented ev’ning air, Let living waters flow. Bathe my many thoughts and cares. I release and I let go. Baptism of tears, clear my vision. Bathe me in peace, reveal my mission. Pour over me Holy Spirit, cleanse my heart and comfort me. Pour over me Holy Spirit, help me know how to let go.

Leddy Hammock God guides me through the “blues” with royal grace. I don’t have to pretend to be okay. At my royal command, the blues must leave me in peace. I don’t have to fight with depression. I choose to go about my Father’s business and tend my thoughts peacefully. Even the rich and powerful may experience temporary feelings of helplessness and sorrow. I am grateful for the love of God that lights my way through the “blues” to the victory of “Royal Blues.”

Leddy Hammock “When you are in lack, speak with words of praise. If you count them, you will find your blessings will amaze. When you are in fear, spread the gift of love. The joy of calm and peace of mind surround you like a glove. When anger fills your heart, understanding is your gift, to put your life in harmony and give everyone a lift. When you are in pain, fill your mind with prayer, an awe-inspiring web of love supports you everywhere. Giving of yourself doesn’t cost you anything. But that gift is more valuable than any other you could bring. There’s something you can give that someone can embrace. Somebody will be happier, this world a better place. We all have gifts to give, making the whole world brighter. We have gifts to give, taking our spirits higher. When we give freely of our love, so much more love we receive. This is the wondrous pattern that we weave.”
