Every generation has another one coming next. We need to win every generation intentionally and in their own context. Judges 2:6-10

We keep fighting for the Church because it's the place we keep showing up, keep remembering, keep looking up, keep breaking bread, and keep making the table bigger until everyone gets a seat.

The Church is the hope of the world because it has been entrusted with the message of Jesus, which can change the hearts and lives of people.

Acts 2:37-47 The Church started as a movement of the Spirit - a radical, uncomfortable, counter-cultural, sacrificial, messy, beautiful movement. And the movement is still going.

Psalm 100 - enduring love of God, faithful to all generations (preview Generations series coming in the fall) It is the perseverance of God and the endurance of His love and faithfulness that leaves room for our endurance. We never set out to create a disaster and ruin our lives and the lives of others we love It starts with one bad decision - we get out of place How do we stay in place? The best way to keep our place is to remember God’s place. 2 Samuel 11:1-3

1 Samuel 26:1-12 We wait on God’s perfect timing. David reigned in the palace, but only after he spent his childhood tending sheep and his teenage years playing harp for the king. Are we willing to serve in the background? Are we willing to let God do the preparing?

Exodus 2:11-22

People who were not like Jesus liked Jesus, and he liked them back. Since the church is the body of Christ, people should be drawn to Jesus followers. Even if they don’t agree with the message of the church, they should like the church. So, why isn’t that true?
