This sermon explains how we can live in humility with one another in practical ways. We will study what is most crucial for us to embrace and maintain humility in our lives.

This sermon examines the final chapter of Luke. We find three different occasions where those in the Bible narrative are confronted with resurrection facts. Each time they respond differently as the truth begins to dawn on them all. In the end, the Resurrected Jesus confirms what they were beginning to perceive and proclaims to them their new mission .

Powerful lessons for us in these two chapters of Scripture to solemnly remember what Jesus did for us as He made His way to the cross and our redemption.

This sermon takes us to Jesus being confronted by the religious elitists of His day. We see that those who were trying to trap Jesus were themselves trapped in a religious system of their own creation rather than God. We will see how they allowed their religion to get in the way of their relationship with God and we will consider how we might avoid the same mistakes.

This sermon focuses on what we find in Scripture is the surprising criteria for entrance into the Kingdom of God. We will also see what Jesus expects from those who are citizens and members of the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Neil and Jimmy Schambach help us examine the right and wrong ways we as believers can approach God. We will see the attitudes and ways Jesus showcases as appropriate and we will also look at how wrong we can get it if we aren't careful. Jesus teaches His disciples, including us, the manner in which all disciples of all ages should come to the Father.

The truth is that Jesus spoke clearly about where we are to lay up treasures. He also made it clear that when we, His disciples, get this right we alleviate all sorts of anxiety and stress in our lives. How we accumulate wealth here on earth or how we view laying up treasures in heaven is not an option but crucial for being disciples of Jesus.

This sermon is team preached by Pastor Neil and Messiah Student, Brent O'Neill. The Scripture text is Luke 17:20-35 and addresses the focus that Jesus had on proclaiming and explaining what the Kingdom of God is really about. Brent starts off speaking to the truth that the Kingdom of God is in our midst and anywhere that King Jesus is present. Pastor Neil takes a look at the kingdom in the believer's life and eternity. The key for everyone is to be sure they have responded to the Gospel message and have admittance into the Kingdom today and for eternity.

This sermon looks at Luke 14 and Jesus' observations of our selfish human nature. We see the tendency we have toward selfishness and the chapter ends with key truths about how real disciples make Jesus the number one priority!

Too often we do little or nothing to grow in our relationship with God and the results are the same each year and very predictable. We end up with a superficial faith that gets us by with our peers but, truth be told, we are falling far short of growing as we would like. It is time for us to be more strategic about our efforts to grow as disciples. Not to try to impress God or our friends, but to know Him better!
