This past Sunday, I preached about spiritual gifts.  We all have them as believers, but it seems like most Christians don't know what their gifts are or how to develop them. And no, sarcasm is not a spiritual gift! :).  If you don't know what your gifts are, here is how to find out: Read Romans 12, I Cor. 12, Eph. 4, I Peter 4 and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you.Talk to a friend/spouse/etc and ask them what they think your gifts might beTake an online gifts test (giftstest.com is pretty good)This coming weekend, I'll be doing a second Sunday on the gifts.  We will discuss how we at Conejo view these gifts and their power and place in the church today.  Don't miss it!  This is an important weekend for YOU as you grow in following Jesus.visit us at: conejochurch.com

This coming Sunday, I’ll be teaching about “Pace and Peace”.  How much did Jesus get done in a short amount of time?  How rushed do you think he was while he was doing it?  I believe that our frantic pace is very different from how Jesus lived each day.  I also believe it can keep us from abiding in him.   Check out these verses from Matthew 11 in The Message, “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.”  Let’s learn from Jesus how to find peace in Him and how to find a Pace that allows us to hear his still, small voice.  We won’t just be talking about it, let’s experience some peace together…visit us at: conejochurch.com
