The Carolina Conference Camp Meeting, is a week long religious meeting of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, held at beautiful Lake Junaluska. Lake Junaluska is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

    Sandra Doran serves at Hart Research Center as  curriculum and creative director for Three Angels for  Kids, where she produces curriculum and teacher training  for grades K-12. Prior to her current post, she spent 17  years with the Florida Conference, serving as associate  superintendent of education. Sandra holds a bachelor's  degree in elementary education and English, a master's  degree in religion and communication, and a doctoral degree in special  education. She has served as a columnist for the Adventist Review, Signs of  the Times and ParentTalk magazines and has published hundreds of articles  and five books.

    Stephen Wickham holds undergraduate degrees in  chemistry, music and nursing as well as a master's in public  administration. His career has included working as a staff  nurse and as director of several hospital departments. As  a registered nurse, he supervised diabetes education and  received clinical experience in diabetes care and education.  When he and his wife, Karen, a registered nurse, learned  that they were living in the county with the lowest health ranking in the  state of Tennessee, she was instrumental in obtaining a grant for the county  for diabetes prevention and education. Stephen authored a community based lifestyle education seminar, which they have been teaching for the  past nine years.

They served in the  Carolina Conference for over 20 years. Since 2014, Eli has  been the ministerial, family ministries and men's ministries  director for the Chesapeake Conference. Through the  years they have learned that a happy family doesn't happen by accident.  Intentionality is a key element in a successful family, as all areas in life.
