Carolina Conference Camp Meeting

Sandra Doran serves at Hart Research Center as  curriculum and creative director for Three Angels for  Kids, where she produces curriculum and teacher training  for grades K-12. Prior to her current post, she spent 17  years with the Florida Conference, serving as associate  superintendent of education. Sandra holds a bachelor's  degree in elementary education and English, a master's  degree in religion and communication, and a doctoral degree in special  education. She has served as a columnist for the Adventist Review, Signs of  the Times and ParentTalk magazines and has published hundreds of articles  and five books. 

Elizabeth Viera Talbot, Ph.D., is the speaker/director for the Jesus 101 Biblical Institute, a media ministry of the North American Division designed to offer in-depth, Christ-centered biblical studies resources. Elizabeth is regularly featured on TV channels, radio stations and social media venues around the world. Elizabeth has authored several books, including the 2020 daily devotional, Jesus Wins! The Jesus 101 website (www. Jesus101.tv) and phone app (Jesus 101) offer many Bible study resources, including daily devotionals, biblical studies, videos, podcasts, audio books, and more. 

Stephen Wickham holds undergraduate degrees in  chemistry, music and nursing as well as a master's in public  administration. His career has included working as a staff  nurse and as director of several hospital departments. As  a registered nurse, he supervised diabetes education and  received clinical experience in diabetes care and education.  When he and his wife, Karen, a registered nurse, learned  that they were living in the county with the lowest health ranking in the  state of Tennessee, she was instrumental in obtaining a grant for the county  for diabetes prevention and education. Stephen authored a community based lifestyle education seminar, which they have been teaching for the  past nine years. 

Eli & Loida Rojas have been married for 34 years. As  a family they have had great joys, shed tears, gotten  frustrated and even had fights, but God has kept them  together by His amazing love and grace. They served in the  Carolina Conference for over 20 years. Since 2014, Eli has  been the ministerial, family ministries and men's ministries  director for the Chesapeake Conference. Through the  years they have learned that a happy family doesn't happen by accident.  Intentionality is a key element in a successful family, as all areas in life. 

Scott Moore's background includes being a laundry manager, professional truck driver, evangelism school outreach coordinator, evangelism school director, pastor of a church plant in Michigan Conference, and being the president of an evangelism school. His passions are God, his family, studying the Bible with others, farming, and being outside working in the yard. Currently Scott serves the Lady Lake and Leesburg, FL, church district in the Florida Conference. 

Don MacLafferty is a disciple of Jesus Christ, a husband to his bride, April, for 33 years, a dad to their three children, a pastor for over 25 years and founder/ president of In Discipleship. In 2002, God moved the hearts of Don and April to launch Kids In Discipleship, a ministry to call parents back to discipling their own kids to Christ and to find their God-given dream in serving others. Today this ministry is named In Discipleship and is committed to "Building Champions who Mentor the New Generations to Trust, Follow, and Share Jesus with Holy Spirit Power." 

Until recently, Pastor Rome Ulia served in the North NSW Conference of the SDA church where he was a Pastor, evangelist and Mentor. Previous assignments included Pastor at Armidale SDA Church & CORE Church Plant, Kempsey SDA Church and South Kempsey Aboriginal SDA Church.He is currently based in Washington at the Auburn Adventist Academy. Husband to Keti Ulia and the father of 6.

Tony Moore is a graduate of Mount Pisgah Academy.  Since his Damascus Road-like conversion at a Rolling  Stones concert in Charlotte, NC, Tony has served as a Bible  teacher, church planter, pastor, metro ministry director,  senior pastor of a large, multi-staff church, and evangelism  ministries director of the It Is Written telecast. His current  project is The Grand Narrative, a seven-volume, 49-episode  series tracing the theme of the great controversy from the development of  civilization to the early church. World of the Patriarchs is the first volume in  this series and will be the basis of his presentations.
