Who hath known the mind of the Lord?.... We have the mind of Christ. The question is, what is the mind of Christ? How is it exhibited? In this sermon various heroes of the faith are examined and shown how they had the mind of Christ. David Livingston for example was told to leave a village by a chieftain and to stop preaching. Initially, David left, however as he was ready to cross a river he realized the calling of Christ upon him and that was to preach...come what may. So he stayed and preached. Christ himself made His mind up even before the world was made that He would save His people from their sins....

Paradigm Shift....a great change of thinking. God brings to the earth a "New Way" of thinking, of doing things and shakes up the way things are done. From the shift in the way we view the world, from maps, temples under the ice caps, to Newtonian Mathematical thinking, to the modern age of computers and compressed streamlined data processing. Paradigm shifts have been occurring for centuries....the question is why? So that God's Son, Jesus Christ, and His precious work can be revealed and shown to be the True light....

"When the Law came, sin raised up an occasion (a fortress, a formidable battle position - Aphorme)." When sin is cornered with the Law of God, it puts up a fight. The question is, will we allow the "fight against God" to prevail, or will we recognize the Aphorme and study it to subdue the Old-Man?

Veracity, seems like a word we don't normally used in the common day, however, in the scriptures and when dealing with God's Truth, veracity is very important and points to a heart that values or treasures truth. The heart values and treasures truth and protects it in his heart. That is where the Ellipsis comes in to play. We might call that reading between the lines, however it is deeper than that, it is picking up the missing, filling in the missing that God has "purposefully" withheld so that we must use the rest of His covenant word to "fill in the blanks" and build firmly.....
