Ephesians 2:4-7 What is ours NOW as believers and what do we have to wait to receive in heaven? Christians are alive NOW together with Christ. Eph. 2:5. Christians are raised up NOW with Him, Eph. 2:6. Christians are seated NOW with Him, Eph. 2:6. Because we are in living union with God NOW, we can live in closer communion with Him NOW, look like Him NOW, and know it only gets better in heaven.

Ephesians 2:1-5 What makes grace “amazing?” Grace becomes amazing when we understand that… As an unbeliever, we were completely unable to come to God on our own, Eph. 2:1. Spiritually well Spiritually sick Spiritually dead As an unbeliever, we all deserve God’s wrath, Eph. 2:3. The salvation we thought was set in motion by us was really set in motion by God, Eph. 2:4. Our salvation was entirely because of God’s goodness not ours, Eph. 2:4.

Ephesians 1:15, 16, 22, 23 Christians should be thankful for the less than perfect. Eph. 1:15, 16 Christians should be thankful for our great public servant, Jesus. Eph. 1:22, 23 His serving sinners on the cross His serving us in heaven as He is seated in authority As the head of the church For us Filling everything in every way In us In all creation

Ephesians 1: 17- 21 Paul encourages the overwhelmed by asking that they may be able to see more of the invisible world. Ephesians 1:17-18 Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better. Eyes of the heart may be enlightened Hope Riches of his glorious inheritance Power

Ephesians 1:15-19a If we are going to avoid being overwhelmed by the visible world, we must see the invisible world with greater intensity. Paul encourages the overwhelmed by giving them a bigger view of salvation. Eph. 1:3-14.At least ten spiritual blessings are yours through salvation. Ephesians 1:11-12

Ephesians 1:7-10 The blessing of being bought out of sin forever, v. 7. The blessing of being born this side of the cross, v. 9. The blessing of having a leader who will unite all, v. 10. The blessing of having all of these things even when we are fully known, v. 8.

Human point of view- it paralyzes us and robs us of motivation. John 17:1-16 Jesus' plan is perfect. The Father heard Jesus' prayer and will grant His requests. Not one of us will be missing so don't be anxious.
