SkyWatchTV took advantage of a campaign stop in our small town by Jay Ashcroft, candidate for Secretary of State in Missouri, to talk with Jay and his father John Ashcroft, a former Missouri governor and US senator who served as Attorney General under President George W. Five Dallas police officers were shot dead last Thursday by a man apparently angry at recent shooting deaths of black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota. Lost in the debate are some important facts about the US: Our nation is more divided than it has been in decades; the New Black Panthers want to create their own 'nation within a nation'; and the alleged shooter was killed by a bomb-carrying robot--essentially a drone without wings. Also: US and Russia expel each others' diplomats; Britain says 'no' to another Brexit vote and picks a new PM; 20 US military veterans commit suicide a day; stocks soar while banks tank; and creepy clouds over CERN.

America is on a disturbing path but we don't have to just sit back and take it.  Gary Heavin, writer/producer of the film AmeriGEDDON, talks about the movie, the fascinating political situation leading up to the presidential election, and what Americans can do to prepare -- starting with accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior.

SkyWatchTV traveled to Williamstown, Kentucky to see the largest wood-framed structure in the world--the Ark Encounter, a new attraction constructed by Answers in Genesis and The Creation Museum. 7,000 supporters and 150 media outlets turned out (along with a handful of protesters) to see this engineering and construction marvel.  But as AiG President and CEO Ken Ham says, "We didn't build it to float because God promised there would never be another global flood!" SkyWatchTV takes you on a brief tour and talks to some of the guests to give you a sense of the official opening of Ark Encounter.

A new transhumanist movement seeks to achieve immortality by freezing 50,000 people in a disaster-proof "Temple of Time". The architectural design uses sacred geometry and pagan symbols. Transhumanists just want to live forever, but they want to do it themselves.  Sadly, they haven't realized that they are already immortal--the only question is where they will spend eternity.

Over 1,000 evangelical Christian leaders had a closed door meeting with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Tuesday, June 21.  While this was an encouraging development, how much hope should Christians place in Mr. Trump as a defender of biblical values? James Walker, president of Watchman Fellowship (www.watchman.org), was one of the leaders invited to attend.  He shares his thoughts about the meeting and reminds us that politics, by its nature, cannot change hearts, and so Christians should not depend on the ballot box to solve spiritual problems.
