The New England Patriots are once again in the playoffs and after their bye week, they kick off the divisional round with a matchup against the Houston Texans. The last time these two teams met, it was in Week 4 of the regular season where a Jacoby Brissett led team shutout the Texans 27-0. The Patriots are the fourth team in NFL history to be favored by 16 or more points in a playoff game, and it’s for a reason. In order to win this game the Texans would have to keep Brady & Co. on the sideline and Houston's offense is mediocre at best to try and achieve that. Pats offense is too high powered and there defense will be able to cause turnovers against this offense. The Patriots have been on a tear heading into the postseason and they have had ample time to prepare for Houston, just ask Bill Belichick. It is the final week of the regular season and the Patriots are going to do their best to approach this one the way they approached last week against the Jets, in that they are going to try to blow Miami out of the water early and try to rest players in the second half.  The Patriots need to secure this win over the Miami Dolphins to ensure that the road to the Super Bowl goes through Foxborough. This isn’t your father’s Miami Dolphins team. They’re now 10-5 with an inspiring young head coach, a strong running game and an above average defensive line. If the Patriots win this game, they will have gone undefeated on the road this season.
