As Trinity considers where our treasure is, we look at the effort we put towards prayer, the grace of God in the midst of that effort, and how we are oriented toward God and toward neighbor.

The Lord's Prayer is one of the many ways Jesus taught his disciples to center their lives in the movement, work, and grace of the Kingdom of God. This week, Trinity reflects on their week of prayer as we center ourselves in the midst of God's kingdom come, and God's will be done.

The people of Trinity, after hearing the popular story of Mary and Martha, consider the balance they have each struck between the work they are called to do and a regular conversation with the God that calls them. In this, we are challenged to pray each morning this week, and will reflect on the experience this next Sunday.

Confronted by the needless death of our African American brothers and sisters throughout the country, the needless death of several police officers in Dallas, and the very parable of Jesus for today, Trinity considers if our neighboring looks like what Jesus had in mind.
