1. The curse v. 5 - trusting in man - finding strength in himself or man - heart leaves the Lord Result- a life that is destitute and empty, alone, and will not realize the good that comes v. 6 2. The blessing v. 7 - trusts in the Lord - hope in the Lord Result- you will be like a tree that is nourished, bears fruit, and will not be moved (when bad things come) Both experience good and bad. One receives it the other ignores it V.9 our heart can deceive us thinking we are right when we may not be V. 10 God searches and sees the heart and knows us Ask God to show me where I'm at V. 11 if you are letting your heart be deceived you are like a bird sitting on eggs that won't hatch. You're missing the blessing
