We Can't Stop Playing Elden Ring - Episode 274
09/03/2022 Duración: 01h11minIt was a very sloooowwwww news week in the world of video games, which means the guys spend the bulk of this episode talking about their progress in Elden Ring. Luckily for Kevin, after starting off lukewarm on the game, Elden Ring has finally clicked for him and he is now loving his 20 hours so far with it. Sean is still in love with it as well, and is making his way toward the 3rd dungeon. We also got some more updates on the current gen version of GTAV, and Housemarque seems to be working on a new IP instead of a sequel to Returnal (which they both agree is a good thing). Start - 00:00 Housekeeping - 00:10 Elden Ring is Awesome - 4:55 GTAV Current Gen Updates - 47:30 Housemarque Working on a New IP - 55:00 Wrap-Up - 1:00:05

02/03/2022 Duración: 01h45minRise, Tarnished! The crazy busy February comes to a close with one of the highest reviewed games of all time in Elden Ring and both of the guys have put in a good bit of time with it so far. They're both very high on it, but is it deserving of the 97 on Metacritic? The guys both also beat Horizon Forbidden West (Sean got the Platinum), so they give their spoiler-free thoughts on beating the game and how it compares to Zero Dawn. Other topics include PSVR2's full reveal, COD skipping 2023, and more leaks around Sony's upcoming Project Spartacus. 23/02/2022 Duración: 01h31minThe wait is finally over, Horizon Forbidden West is here! The game is easily one of the most anticipated games for both of the guys in 2022, and after spending around 20 hours with it so far it is living up to the hype. The guys go in depth on their thoughts of the game so far, and there are NO spoilers discussed. Before getting to Forbidden West though, the guys both also played through the newest retro Metroidvania adventure in Infernax, and it is awesome as well! GTA 6 Finally Confirmed & Mina The Hollower Revealed - Episode 270
09/02/2022 Duración: 01h26minIn the least surprising news ever, Rockstar has officially confirmed that the "next GTA" game is in development (which has subsequently been referred to as GTA 6). While this isn't surprising in the least, it is good to finally get confirmation that we will be getting a new mainline game at some point in the next few years. Rockstar also revealed the release date for GTA 5 on current gen systems, as well as the improvements that will come along with it. Yacht Club unveiled their first new game since Shovel Knight in Mina the Hollower. Curiously though, even with the success of Shovel Knight, they are once again going the kickstarter route which is an interesting choice to say the least. Other topics include the guys starting to plan for Episode 300, thoughts on the Contra and Castlevania Anniversary Collections, and financial updates from Sony and Nintendo. This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race - Episode 269
02/02/2022 Duración: 01h19minBefore January could even come to a close we got ANOTHER huge acquisition in gaming. Sony has announced that they are purchasing Bungie to the tune of $3.6B, their biggest acquisition yet. Unlike Microsoft, however, Sony immediately announced that Destiny 2 and projects currently in development by Bungie would remain multiplatform. While this is a good move by Sony, it does beg the question - Why? In other acquisition related news, it appears that the next three COD games will still be coming to PlayStation, but that may be all... Other topics include Respawn making 3 Star Wars games, getting the Trigger Witch PS5 platinum, Royal Rumble 2022 thoughts, and much more! Xbox/Activision Fallout & Trigger Witch PS5 Review - Episode 268
26/01/2022 Duración: 01h22minThe gaming industry is still reeling after the blockbuster announcement from Microsoft last week that they were planning to acquire ABK. While there is still a lot to be determined over the next year-and-a-half, we have heard more from Phil Spencer and Sony, and the guys run through all of it. Also, apparently Bobby Kotick tried to buy Kotaku and PC Gamer to try and forcefully change public perception about how horribly he was running ABK. Before that though, the guys give their thoughts on the free PS5 upgrade to one of their favorite games from last year in Trigger Witch. Long story short, it was great on PS4 and it is still great on PS5! Other topics include Sean's long journey to the Final Fantasy X Platinum, the guys' PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2021, and NPD for December and all of 2021. Kevin got Covid so this was recorded over Zoom unfortunately, so we apologize for any drop in audio quality. Next week we should be back to normal! Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard - Episode 267
19/01/2022 Duración: 55minShockwaves were sent through the video game world Tuesday morning when Microsoft announced it was acquiring Activision Blizzard for roughly $68.7B! The guys planned on taking the week off because of Covid and life, but this monumental acquisition forced them to reconsider. It's time to discuss everything we know so far about the news, and discuss whether it is good or bad for the industry as a whole. Kevin also has some very strong thoughts about everyone's favorite "good guy", Phil Spencer.

PlayStation VR2 Info Blowout - Episode 266
12/01/2022 Duración: 01h07minIt's a Single Player edition of the podcast this week, as Sean is out taking care of a new baby! Podcasting alone isn't easy, but Kevin luckily got a good deal of questions from the audience to help steer the conversation this week. The big news this week, though, surprisingly comes from CES where Jim Ryan officially named PlayStation VR2 along with giving a lot more details on the powerful specs of the upcoming headset. We also got our first teaser of Horizon Call of the Mountain, the long-rumored VR game set in the world of Horizon which is being co-developed by Firesprite. The last big item this week is an update on Days Gone sales numbers from the director himself, as well as news that Bend Studio tried to pitch Sony on an open world Resistance game. This of course makes Kevin a bit sad that it never came to fruition... Splinter Cell Remake Confirmed! - Episode 263
22/12/2021 Duración: 01h01minAfter rumors swirled a few weeks ago about a NEW Splinter Cell in the works, Ubisoft has now confirmed that a REMAKE of the first game is officially in the works at Ubisoft Toronto. Ubisoft hasn't exactly had the greatest track record as of late, so the guys take a hype check on the project. PlayStation has finally announced the option for PS5 owners to purchase different colored "covers" for the PS5, along with more color options for the DualSense. The question still remains though, why don't they just do a design studio like XBox does?!? The guys run through all the announcements and give their thoughts on the show as a whole, and what this should become in the future. Chrono Cross Remake Rumors & Kojima Goes Hollywood - Episode 260
01/12/2021 Duración: 01h04minChrono Trigger is considered by many to be one of, if not THE, greatest JRPG ever made but its PlayStation follow-up Chrono Cross doesn't seem to be held in the same regard. Perhaps this could be why a remake of the game is headed our way, after being mentioned in the infamous Nvidia leak from a few months ago. Sean loved Trigger, but not Cross, so he has thoughts on what this remake could end up improving on the game. Kojima Productions announced that they are opening an LA based studio to help get them into the world of TV and movies, but hopefully this won't take our lord and savior Hideo Kojima away from gaming any time soon. Also, it may not be a good idea to get your hopes up for more Half-Life anytime soon, as a recent report suggests that Valve is solely focused on the Steam Deck for the time being. Other topics include My Friend Peppa Pig, Kevin's thoughts on GTA Vice City, Sean nearing the Platinum for the Castlevania Advance Collection, and much more! Start - 00:00 Housekeeping - 00:10 Tom H

State of Play Disappoints, But PS5 is Still Rocking - Episode 258
03/11/2021 Duración: 01h07minPlayStation's latest State of Play was a disappointment, to say the least. The disappointment is probably our fault, but did this really need to be it's own show, or could these announcements have simply been a PS Blog post? Despite that, the PS5 continues to dominate sales charts and the rest of their results continue to head in the right direction. This past week we also FINALLY got a new look at the Halo Infinite campaign, and for some reason it seems that WB is making a Smash-style fighter...
