Our series in Luke continues with Pastor Aaron's challenge to actively be involved in ministering hope, through personal and corporate evangelism. He teaches the 3C evangelism strategy - Contact, Connect & Communicate, and encourages us to be actively involved with 3 friends.   

Pastor Aaron Continues the third message in our Series in Luke's Gospel. We are challenged that although growing does often hurt, it is worth it on the other side. It is worth growing. Overcoming Trials brings hope. 

January 19, Aaron Wardle Bible reading is found in Luke 3. The gospel always starts with repentance. John is baptising people, encouraging them once they have repented of their sins, to live lives in a manner that honours that repentance.

Pastor Aaron begins a brand new series in Luke's Gospel titled 'Jesus' Ministry of Hope', as he shares with us the Stress, Source and Solution to Anxiety from Luke chapter 2. 

Ross Barnes returns to the pulpit to challenge us to do valiantly in the basics of the Christian Life. 

Peter Craft Leads us through reflections from the book of Philippians on Paul's encouragement to have a Christ-Centred approach to life, and a Christ-Centred perspective on our circumstances. 

Pastor Aaron bring the Christmas message for 2019 - When Hope Came Down, following the story of the birth of Christ from Luke's Gospel. 

This was recorded during our combined family service with mainly music. Listen as Pastor Aaron unpacks the meaning contained in a modern Christmas Carol "We Have A Saviour".

December 8, Aaron Wardle Last service in the vision series. Romans 12:12 – ‘Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.’ Pastor Aaron looks at the importance of choosing to rejoice in the Lord, in spite of what we may be going through. God’s created us so that we receive joy when we do good for others.

December 1, Aaron Wardle Discipleship and growth occur in families. Pastor Aaron explores what this should look like and also highlights bible verse 1 Corinthians 12:12.

Pastor Aaron continues the Vision series, unpacking the values statements and casting the vision in the areas of Vibrant Family and Gospel-Centred Growth. 

November 24, Aaron Wardle Aaron further unpacks what authentic worship will look like as our church congregation and family. There is nothing simpler than a life that has Christ at the centre; nothing more beautiful than a life with Jesus as its focus, nothing more purposeful than a life that concentrates on Christ; there is nothing more needful than a life that rests in Jesus.

November 17, Aaron Wardle Pastor Aaron looks at the vision for Wangaratta Baptist Church over the next few years. We will express ourselves as a church through authentic worship, vibrant family, gospel-centred growth and joyful service. He unpacks in this sermon, what authentic worship looks like and how we can live this as Christians in our community.

October 27, Aaron Wardle Bible reading is found in James 3:13 onward. Aaron explores James’ advice with regards to the words that we use and how they can bring hope or tear people down. How we respond to these words is also important to bring hope into conversations.

November 10, Aaron Wardle Bible reading is found in James 5. Pastor Aaron also looks at Elijah and his hopeful prayer for rain. James ends his book encouraging us to pray in all circumstances and to be particularly concerned about the salvation of others.

November 3, Aaron Wardle Bible reading is found in James 3:13-18. Pastor Aaron reads further into James chapter 4 and explores how we can bring hope. He also discusses the concept of holiness – set apart unto God. He points out that although we are set apart unto God, we are not to judge – that is God’s role, not ours. He discusses our need to fight for hope in our community and families.
