This Sunday we’re honoured to hear from special guest, Pastor Wayne Alcorn. Together with his wife Lyn, Pastor Wayne leads Hope Centre Church, while also serving as National President of the Australian Christian Churches movement, comprising of around 1,200 churches nationwide. Pastor Wayne is much loved as a communicator because of his ability to employ insightful (and humorous) storytelling to amplify biblical truth. Having spent four decades serving men of all ages in Australia and beyond, he is acutely aware of the challenges facing emerging generations of fathers and sons, and he continues to be engaged in programs that effectively transform men, their families and their communities.

Many people in church lose their joy because they go looking for it in all the wrong places and pin their joy to the seasonal, circumstantial, and the material things of life. When our joy is found in the hope we have in Jesus we can know the bad things in this life will turn for good, the good things can never be lost and the best things are yet to come.
