Activating The Divine Creative Process

Clarity is one of the four ratings of a diamond (along with cut, color and carat).  Within the clarity rating, there is a five-point scale.  Where a diamond lands on that scale plays an important role in determining its value.   Today we will explore how we might apply this Diamond Clarity Scale and, in that application, bring a new level of clarity of being into and throughout our lives.

Your life is like a faceted gem. There are so many aspects that make up YOU! When diamonds are cut, they reveal their brilliance. Join us this week as we explore how your life, just like a gem, can become a brilliant reflection when you make the right cuts. And, also join us this week to wish Rev. Sally bon voyage as this will be her last Sunday with us before her move to North Carolina.

As we explore the metaphysics behind Jesus' resurrection and ascension and look at a number of the profound teachings of this Spiritual Master, we are invited to arise and shine into our own unique Brilliance. Today, we complete our "What's Luck Got To Do With It?" series as well as engage in our traditional Palm Sunday Rose Blessing, which is one of the most meaningful and profound ceremonies we do at Creative Living. We will blend those two together by looking at how we never need to "push our luck," but rather how have access to that which will pull us to our highest good.

On this day after St. Patrick's Day, we will each discover our own personal Lucky Charm and learn how to use it quite effectively. And if you wear green to service today, you might just find yourself extra lucky.

This common phrase is used to describe an outcome based on chance, over which we have no control -- like drawing the short stick. But are we really at the mercy of the luck of the draw? Science, as well as spirituality, says we are not, but it takes a specific attitude coupled with precise activities to create our own luck of the draw.

"He really lucked out on that one!" is a phrase we often hear. And, of course, we hear it when a random happy coincidence has just occurred. What do scientific research and spiritual principles have to say about how we can "luck out"? Today we find out.

I have been lucky to have worked with some of the nicest, most loving people on the planet at my workplace. It is this individuality that allows us to create our own experience through our power of choice, self-expression and free will. The original Commandments are powerful and well-known, but in many ways lack context in today's world. Most of the commandment are things we should NOT do, which is a challenge when we are focused on the Science of Mind perspective of getting to "Yes." Rev. This final Sunday of the year (and Rev. Michele's final Sunday before her two-month sabbatical), we will stand on the second four of the "Eight Pillars of Joy" according to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu in "The Book of Joy." When we live from all Eight Pillars, we truly will BE and will BRING Joy to the World!

According to His Holiness and the Archbishop, there are Eight Pillars of Joy. This morning, we will stand on four of them and behold joy in a new light.

Today, we burst with joy as we celebrate those who have successfully completed coursework at Creative Living University during 2017. If you are one of the 138 students who graduated from a CLU class this year, be sure to be here today to receive your Certificate of Completion and a lot of love! And if you are not a CLU graduate, be sure to be with us anyway. There will be lots to burst with joy over during this service. Then, everyone, please join us at 12:45 pm to be a part of the cap and gown graduation ceremony of our 4 "Professional Practitioner Studies" graduates, Diana Darrell, Fran Peck, Jeannie Soverns and Monica Zickus. A cake and sparkling cider reception will follow the graduation.

The Dalai Lama once said, "One great question underlies our existence. What is the purpose of life?
