I've been called to share more of what I've learned over the last decade about speaking my truth and reclaiming my feminine voice. Our society is only just starting to come to terms with how women’s voices have been silenced and discarded. In many parts of the world, being a woman means to serve a man, keep quiet, and honor the patriarchy without question. No thanks! Many of us are conditioned that it is not safe to speak our truth from a very early age or perhaps we were taught to only speak when spoken to. This conditioning often causes children to withdraw because what they have to say isn't deemed important. Often, we go from learning to withdraw as a child to becoming withdrawn as an adult because we are afraid of being ignored, belittled, or shut down. Most often we silence ourselves to keep the peace.
