The prophets continually speak against the sins of idolatry and injustice, which go hand in hand. While we may not be bowing down to wooden idols today, the pattern idolatry still looks the same: we go to idols for provision but get theft, for service and get slavery, for deliverance and get destruction. While we fear to go to Jesus, when we do, we find just the opposite is true of him, but we have to open our hands and lay down our idols. Rev.
