Hour 2 with Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller: Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin held their pre-draft press conference today at the Steelers facilities. They got rid of Diontae Johnson, Mason Cole, and Chuks Okorafor but haven't replaced any of them. It's an incomplete roster going to the draft with obvious needs. Who the Steelers could pick at 20. Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin held their pre-draft press conference today at the Steelers facilities. They got rid of Diontae Johnson, Mason Cole, and Chuks Okorafor but haven't replaced any of them. It's an incomplete roster going to the draft with obvious needs. 

Hour 1 with Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller: The Pirates are 11-11 after being 9-2 to start the year. They were swept by the Mets and Red Sox last week, two average teams. Mitch Keller has a 4.80 ERA and hasn't been good. David Bednar's ERA is over 10 and has three blown saves. So many areas have been bad. If the Pirates lose tonight, will they ever go over .500 again this year? They've lost six in a row and here come the first-place Milwaukee Brewers. Martin Perez said the Pirates need to enjoy baseball and going out there to play with some pep in their step. It feels like when they're down, there's no chance they can come back. They fell behind early weeks ago and battled back to win. Greg in Youngstown went after Dan Zangrilli for defending Andrew McCutchen for not hitting. We don't want to watch much of the Stanley Cup playoffs, it doesn't feel right without the Penguins. Erik Karlsson being captain of the power play should be better next season, but they need a good power play coach.

Graham Barton from Duke is our prospect of the day on the offensive line. Brandon Aiyuk said there will be fireworks next week. Steelers insider Mark Kaboly of The Athletic joined the show. He thinks Amarius Mims is still one of the top choices at pick 20. Mark believes it's going to be a right tackle and not center, even though center is picking up steam. Paul Skenes is just a dominant force who can take the Pirates to new heights. Hour 1 with Andrew Fillipponi and Chris Mueller: Kyle Dubas is not calling it a rebuild, but the team needs to replenish their system. It's a 'pivot' but Dubas doesn't want to be at the bottom like the Pirates the last 5 years. The Penguins were built on two rebuilds and the ability to get stars in Lemieux and Crosby 1-1 and turn the franchise around for generations. It seems like the 'pivot' is making guys like Riley Smith, Rakell, Jarry, and others in their 30s available. Tristan Jarry said he played "pretty good" this year, plus Kyle Dubas said they'll see how he bounces back. Todd Reirden will most likely not be back and the power play cost him his job. Dubas was honest about the poor results. We hear what Dubas said about the power play and Mike Sullivan.
