A day later this week than usual, we are back to discuss the next position in the 2016 Fantasy Baseball position previews, third base.  Third base is pretty loaded this year with lot of youngsters who really took the next step into stardom last season. Manny Machado, Nolan Arenado, Kris Bryant are just some players that took the next step. We discuss them and a few of the vets like what exactly should we do with David Wright this season? A.J and Joe are back and moving on with our 2016 Fantasy Baseball Positoin Previews. For this show we will be covering the second base and shortstop positions.  Second base is an interesting position this year. It is generally viewed as one that is not very deep, but maybe we are all wrong. We'll cover that and get into if Dee Gordon is really the No. 1 or No. 2 second baseman? What to expect from Anthony Rendon and can Robinson Cano and Ian Kinsler still be top options given their older age? Shortstop is loaded with young up and coming talent and there is a lot of excitement around this position, especially Carlos Correa. We go into depth on him and ask what to expect from other 2nd year players such as Francisco Lindor and Addison Russell? The last major topic is the shortstops on the move, Ian Desmond, Starlin Castro and Jean Segura, and will a change of scenery do them well. Along with those specific topics for each position, we also will go through some draft strategies, sleeper and busts for each one

A.J and Joe are back and ready to roll. Today we are excited as we begin our 2016 Fantasy Baseball Position previews.  We start with the catchers. We all know about Buster Posey and even up and comer, Kyle Schwarber. But what can you expect from them and the other guys? When do you draft your catcher? How about single catcher vs. two catcher league? We cover that and more. Next is the First Base preview. There are some real studs at this position, but this year feels like there is a lot less depth at the position than in recent years. Should you worry about Miguel Cabrera's injury history? Can Votto repeat last season? Is more decline expected for Albert Pujols?  We also give our sleepers and busts at each position as well. We are back folks and ready to fully transition to Fantasy Baseball! Since we have been on break a lot has happened.  We start with the FSTA draft. This in my opinion is the start to the Fantasy Baseball draft season. A group of 13 great minds get together for this league and kind of set the tone for the rest of the draft season. We break it down to let you know some of the more interesting picks of the draft. We'll finish up by discussing the last month of free agent signings and trades from Chris Davis to the Corey Dickerson trade, that will affect your Fantasy Baseball season.

With the NFL season over and baseball not here yet, a lot of of DFS players are trying to take to the NBA to fill the void in their life, some more successful than others.  To help you with this transition I am teaming with the resident DFS expert on FantasySixPack.net, Keenan Keeling, along with DaTrueGuru (no really thats his twitter handle), Mark Kaplan from the FantasyAlarm.  Both of them will help me and you navigate through the treacherous waters of NBA DFS. They help you make the transition smooth by talking about such thing like point multipliers and how to deal with those $10K players.

We are back after a week off for the holidays and will be wrapping up the 2015 Fantasy Football season.  We begin by inviting the FSWA (Fantasy Sports Writers Association) league champion on, Richard Savill (@RRSSavill). He will tell us what his strategy was going into this season and other things that helped him navigate to the top of the 16-team expert league. Next we quickly take a look at some of the coaches that have been let go, specifically A.J.'s favorite coach, Chip Kelly.  Then we finish by having some fun and handing out our 2015 Fantasy Football Awards. Welcome to the Week 16 Fantasy Six Pack Hour. It is Fantasy Football Championship Week. We begin by telling you about our favorite championship stories from past seasons. We welcome you to call in all show long to tell us about yours.  Next we get into the latest slew of injuries that are going to affect the Fantasy Football Championships. There were plenty of big name players that went down last week. Oh and don't forget the Odell Beckham Jr. suspension.  To finish, we give our last set of best/worst games and sleepers/busts of the week to help you with both season long decisions and those DFS lineups. A.J and Joe are back to discuss what for most of you was the first week of the Fantasy Football Playoffs.  We start with some fun, or maybe not so fun depending on what side of the coin you fall, bad beat stories from Richard Savill's FSWA (Fantasy Sports Writers Association) league.  Next we get into the weeds discussing all the injuries that likely affected your Fantasy matchup this week. A lot of big name players went down early in games and owners were left with zeros, or close to it. If you were lucky enough to move on we'll tell you how to prepare going forward without your star players. Finishing up the Week 14 discussion we will run through the busts and saviors from the first week of the Fantasy playoffs.  As always we close the show with our waiver wire pick ups for the week, best/worst game of week 15 and our sleeper/bust picks.

What that means is those owners who have abandonded their teams at this point in the season because they are 2-10 and don't care. After a week off we are back for another edition of The Fantasy Six Pack Hour. This week we start off by discussing how you need to start preparing for your Fantasy playoffs. An immediate way to do this is to make some trades before the trade deadline, which is tomorrow at Noon in standard ESPN leagues. We let you know some of the players you should target and who is good trade bait. Next we want to talk about the level of play in the NFL recently. Have all these injuries finally caught up to the teams and affected the level of play on the field?  We finish with our Week 12 prep by going through the injuries you need to know about, waiver wire claims you need to make and making our sleeper/bust predictions for the week. We're well on our way into the second half of the season. At this point your teams are probably mostly set with players. Sure a late season add here or there is what makes champions but what if you're on the other end of the spectrum? What if you're out if it? LeSean McCoy and Eddie Lacy were injured Sunday too, we discuss those and their backups James Starks and Karlos Williams. We also discuss Aqib Talib's dirty play when he poked Dwayne Allen in the eye, what are the fantasy implications of that now that he is suspended for one game. Of course we finish off with getting you ready for Week 10 by informing you of other injuries you shold pay attention to, the top waiver claims you should make and giving you our best/worst game of the week along with our sleepers/busts for Week 10.

This week on the SCFE Fantasy Football podcast one of our DFS gurus, Levi Serfoss, returns to the podcast to let us know how the DFS season has been going. Which strategies have been working for him? Who are his favorite plays for this week and the rest of the season? What the hell do you do when it comes to the running back position? Levi will do his best to answer this season's biggest mysteries. Of course I'll be picking his brain for some tips to win this week and what he thinks will be winning strategies for the rest of the season!  All that and more tonight  

Halloween really did a number on the NFL this past week as we saw a number of major and season ending injuries. We welcome Fantasy football columnist over on FantasySixPack.net, Kevin Huo to help discuss the effect from all of those and the corresponding  move you should be planning to make.  We then look ahead to Week 9, talking about some of the other waiver wire additions to consider. With a lot of my team's coming out of the gate slowly I was looking for anyone who could help my teams get better. That meant some trades. With only 16 NFL games I find people are a little more hesitant to trade players. Tonight we'll give you some tips on making a deal and who you should be going after!.
