The Okuwobis who serve at The Peoples Church of Cincinnati, OH, work to make that happen. In this breakout session, they will reprise their Pre-Synod Workshop presentation on creating multi-ethnic churches and helping our churches effectively reach out to the communities where we live. Dele Okuwobi is Associate Pastor of The Peoples Church, Cincinnati, OH, a church dedicated to building a multi-ethnic congregation. Dele was born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in New Orleans. Dele is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and is married to Oneya Okuwobi. Oneya Okuwobi is Associate Pastor and Director of Cross Cultural Education at the Peoples Church where the curriculum she developed has helped transform the church from a 98% Caucasian commuter church into a truly multi-ethnic church that reflects the
