Sinopsis

RadioZoom is one of the earliest podcasts to come out of the initial wave of excitement about the new medium in 2004. What started out as an experiment, a nerdy implementation of recently discovered coding skills, and in a era post-college radio days, RadioZoom became an adventure in social networking among fellow podcasters and people who actually listened to what I was publishing to the world. Stories, soundseeing, and music. Podcasting for the hell of it.

Since Rebecca and I are getting married very soon, I cannot promise anything in terms of episodes for the next few weeks. In today’s episode, I talk a little about my new years celebration in Vancouver, being sick with the flu, some hockey discussion, email feedback about Canadian beer, and the music you’ve come to expect from me. I’m still stuck with this awful headset, but not for much longer. I made some changes midway through the podcast, so you can notice a difference in my voice as it goes on. I already recorded the whole episode, so I’m putting it out anyway. I have a Christmas present coming from my brother in the next few days, so watch for the quality of my podcasts to get much better. There’s new snow on the mountains! I said that I would post this picture in the show notes, so here it is. We start out with a little talk about the Vancouver Canucks, debut the first ever installment of Zoom In Tech, and finish up with listener email. As always, great music for you to check out, played with permission. Zoom In Tech is a segment I will do from time to time about things in the world of technology that are important to me or that I just find cool.
