Scott's approach revolves around 3 quality workouts per week, augmented with rigorous cross-training. He has conducted scientific studies using this approach and found that almost all runners in his study improved their marathon time with this approach. We get into the details about the actual training involved, how he came up with the idea, and how runners can implement it in their life.
