"The Herod Response". In this lesson, we learn: Encountering Jesus requires a response. The “Herod response” is to be troubled by Jesus. We’re troubled by Jesus when we realize he will disrupt our sense of power and control. When we’re tempted to have this response to Jesus, we need to realize his Lordship is best for us. Therefore, we ought to learn to recognize and resist the “Herod response” in your own life. So, by the power of the Spirit, let’s grow in living in light of the Lordship of Jesus.
