Manga Mavericks

Hello, darlings! Welcome back to #LumSquad, a podcast hosted by @LumRanmaYasha and @ProdTally devoted to the wonderful and wacky world of Rumiko Takahashi’s Urusei Yatsura! We went back on an unexpected hiatus again last year, but hey, Viz’s second attempt to release UY in the 90s also unceremoniously stopped too. As they say, the third time’s the charm, and at least we’ve come back for our third try much faster than they did! Much like Viz’s regular releases of the series, we’re dedicated to resuming regular episodes of this podcast, which in our case will be monthly releases on the last friday of every month from here on out! We’ve already got some episodes banked and planned, and with more manga coming out and Discotek bringing the movies out later this year, there’ll always be plenty to talk about! Our plans for the next couple of episodes involve catching back up on the manga, starting with volume 6; the first volume featuring newly translated UY chapters from Viz in over 20 years!
