You can call it "black gold." The coffee industry is booming in Uganda and elsewhere in East Africa. Farmers in Uganda are turning to a dynamic cash crop that is gaining attention worldwide. Joshua Rukundo is executive director of Kigezi Coffee Development Academy. He organizes coffee farmers in Southwest Uganda to help increase production and quality of Ugandan coffee.  In our conversation he tells us how coffee has become a crop with national strategic importance.Support the show
