This week I’m joined by my good friend Levi Potter to discuss the tips and tricks to hunting turkeys in the afternoon. We first start off with his story on how him and his dad doubled up in the ground blind opening day. Then we dive into deep detail on how to locate afternoon birds, what decoy set up works best and the correct calls to make.I spent more then 12 hours with Levi on Michigans opening weekend as he offered his skills to help me get onto a bird. As some days go, the turkeys did not cooperate. This man is a turkey killer, he’s harvested a turkey every year for the last 13 years.
