If you then who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask of him. The new year is a gift. What are you asking for this year? What are you seeking? What door are you looking for? These questions are the desired line paths that lead to your deep and most present longings. Jesus asks us to ask to reveal our lack in his abundance. He reveals our seeking as a prone to wander and invites us as the good shepherd to pick us up and put us around his shoulders to rest in green pastures. Our abrupt, anxious, incessant knocking uncovers the joy of the Father because though there
