In Episode 82, we talked specifically about worship music in our churches. We introduce the philosophy of worship music, which is called Content-Based Worship. Diving in deep into this philosophy will grant you a better understanding of the relationship between the musical portion of a worship service and the rest of the service, especially the preaching.There are existing issues within contemporary Christian worship music. There is shallow theology, a lot of repetitiveness, but most importantly, the music is too generic and can be played around the globe sounding like it’s ‘Christian music’, when it isn’t.
