Overview: (Matthew 16:21-23) In our sermon today we looked into Peter’s rebuke of Jesus Christ after Jesus had told His disciples of His fate in Jerusalem of, torture, death and His resurrection, and Jesus’s response to Peter for his comments. How dare Peter rebuke Jesus Christ? Jesus was God, and knew the future. Peter had no right to rebuke Jesus, right? In my message titled, “Don't Be So Hard On Peter”, I give a fresh perspective on why Peter said what he did to Jesus concerning His death, and resurrection.
