Overview - It Is Easier For A Camel To Go Through The Eye Of A Needle Than For A Rich Man To Enter The Kingdom Of God. Matthew 19:23-30. In our message today we cover a variety of different topics. We read Jesus tell His disciples that it is pretty much impossible for a wealthy/rich man to get into Heaven. We read how the disciples react to Jesus’ statement which shows us that Jesus was being literal in what He said. But when the disciples say to Jesus, “who then can be saved”, Jesus turns His teaching to focus on salvation for all mankind, and says, “With man this (salvation) is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. So with humankind salvation is impossible, salvation comes from God. Does this mean that we have no part in salvation? Does God just elect those whom He elects and the rest are left behind?
