Overview: God Is Not The God Of The Dead, But Of The living. Matthew 22:23-33. In our message today, we read about how the Sadducees come to Christ with a question concerning the resurrection from the dead, which is also afterlife that they don’t believe in. Who are the Sadducees, and why don’t they believe in a literal resurrection or an afterlife? And why would these same Sadducees come to Jesus and ask Him a question about something they don’t believe in?
