Portlaoise frontline worker wins Mother of the Year. A&E nurse and single mother of 2 Louise Lynam has won Woman's Way Mother of the Year competition. Her youngest daughter Kiera has Cystic Fibrosis, Louise tells Ann Marie on Monday's Open Door how tough it was not being able to hug her during the Pandemic. "My workmates are like family" she says as she talks of confiding in the A&E team in Portlaoise Hospital where she works
