The birth of Jesus was a miracle that continues to change the world. The shepherds were told that the birth of Jesus was to be a “sign” that God was about to do something historical. John, one of Jesus’ disciples, also used the word “sign” to describe all of Jesus’ miracles. Signs point to something that is coming. In this series, we will move backwards through John’s gospel looking at the signs that will build wonder and hope for us today just like they did when they initially happened. In this Advent season, we to wait in anticipation for the destination these signs point toward.
