Arrest Those Peri-intubation Arrests

Informações:

Sinopsis

Today we head back to camp to hear Dr. Ben Lawner of Alleghany LifeFlight discuss how as critical care transport professionals are often tasked with airway management in a patient who is in need of emergent resuscitation because they are teetering on the edge. Whether it is trauma, sepsis, and other critical conditions they all necessitate a heightened awareness of the risks of intubation and positive pressure ventilation. He reviews the latest literature and helps us all consider "best practices" with respect to optimizing the crashing patient with concurrent respiratory failure so they have a parachute to arrest their clinical momentum as we manage their airway.    CME Collective If you need someone to talk to, call 1-833-AIR-FAST.
