Dan is the former Director of Communications for the Indiana Conference who now is a spokesperson for the primary group in the United Methodist Church which advocates inclusive language in the Book of Discipline regarding ordination of homosexual people and the allowance of UM clergy to marry same sex couples. Brad and Dan have an in depth discussion of theological and biblical arguments surrounding the issues, the possibility of a schism in the church the implications for local churches and clergy as well as the efforts to find a “way forward” to for our church.
