This story takes a look at the unique relationships we have with our grandparents who, unlike our parents, can provide a powerful link to our personal sense of family history. Frank has been—among other things--a survey crew member, a construction site go-fer, a bookstore owner, a studio and wedding photographer, and a bridge tender. He recently retired from a teaching position at Mt. Angel Seminary where he was variously addressed as Doctor, Professor and Father.
