A little about our guests. Steven and Paul met 19 years ago in the wild and wacky world of New York City ad agencies. Paul was born in Pisa, Italy and moved to Boston, MA when he was just 7 years old. Paul joined an order of monks when he was 18 and studied with them at Iona College before going to New York to work in advertising and study at the School of Visual Arts. He continued in the advertising world, including starting his own agency. Paul was married and has 3 children. One of whom works with Paul and Steven at Villa Cappelli. Steven was born in a small town in Texas. He moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas with degrees in both English and Advertising. After graduation, Steven moved to New York to become a copywriter and worked at several of the larger agencies in town. Steven moved from the advertising world to the magazine world.
