Plan before taking the leap. Do not start podcasting without knowing your destination or journey. Know your “niche”. Narrow down your theme for your podcast as specifically as you can. Make episodes dedicated to that “niche”. Serve the niche, and only that niche directly. Do not veer off-topic. Decide on a hosting site. Find a solid hosting site. Own your RSS feed. Equipment is important, but the content is imperative. All the best equipment setup means nothing if you do not have good content Draw your listeners in with interesting content that answers questions entertains, and keeps them coming back for more. List
