Our American Forefathers, contrary to popular belief, did have a love for Christ, which brought a heavy influence of Christianity upon this continent and its laws. In the word of God, Hope is mentioned. And it is vital that hope is nurtured and watered. As Paul states in the Love chapter of Corinthians 3 "Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is love."
