Garry Moore is accusing the council of having a conflict of interest when it comes to chlorination.A council staff member is also a board member of Water NZ, a lobby group pushing for chlorination of all of New Zealand’s drinking water.But council boss Karleen Edwards is defending the staff member's positions on both the board and council - saying it's not unusual in other councils around the country..She says Water NZ was not involved in the decision to chlorinate the city's water.
