Council has committed to providing a new home for the Court Theatre - but has ruled out the development of a black box theatre in the new Arts Precinct for now..Council will contribute 30 million towards the project with the Crown is providing the land.A theatre working group has been set up to fast track a cost effective option for a location for the court as well as car parking.Michael Bell from Andromedia theatre who had proposed a blackbox style theatre for the precinct told Chris Lynch it's a sad day for performing arts in the city.
