Chris Lynch: Lack of progress disgusting

Sinopsis

The Ministry of Health admits they haven't made any decisions on a site for a hospital carpark at Christchurch Hospital. In a statement sent to Newstalk ZB, Ministry of Health Programme Director, Tony Lloyd says no decision has yet been made on the site for the car park. A new traffic study, which will take into account other developments in the area, will give a clearer picture of likely demand. This is expected to be completed in the next couple of months. He says we expect to know by mid-2019 whether the 2020 timeframe is achievable. We accept it is a big ask to have planning, scoping, approval, tender and build done by then, but we are still aiming to do so. Canterbury Mornings host Chris Lynch says the fact they haven't even decided where the hospital carpark would be is disgusting and conducting another traffic study is laughable. Listen to Chris's full comment above.
