I remember first hearing the phrase "The New Normal," mentioned by Tom Brokaw on 9/11.  The attack was only hours old, and we already realized that our lives would be different.  Since then, I've heard it used several times for many various reasons, but none ever really took on real life-changing meaning to me until March of 2020.  That's when I went home to work until I lost my job in May 2020 because of the pandemic.   It's still a bit difficult for me to say that the coronavirus took my job, and I'm still a little upset about it.  The New Normal in this context means a couple of things.   It means that businesses are going to operate differently.  Take the call center industry as an example.   In many cases, the most significant overhead a call center has is facility cost.
